(01)

Briefing

Before starting the design process, our project manager and designer conduct thorough research and analysis. We examine every aspect of your product, including its goals, unique value proposition, brand positioning, and the narrative behind its name. If you have an existing brand identity, we’ll evaluate it to pinpoint its strengths and areas that may need enhancement. Additionally, we perform a comprehensive market review to understand how your competitors position themselves, identifying recurring themes in their logos, such as color schemes, typography, shapes, and design concepts. This helps us ensure your logo stands out while aligning with your brand’s strategic vision.
(02)

Concept

Building upon our research, we create two to three strong conceptual directions that are grounded in metaphors relevant to your brand and product. For each concept, we assemble detailed moodboards containing inspiring visuals that encapsulate the essence of the idea. We present these moodboards to you to facilitate a collaborative discussion in selecting the most suitable direction. Once we have identified the concept, we analyze the moodboard to highlight the specific visual elements that will define your logo’s unique style and personality.
(03)

Sketches

With a well-defined concept, our designers and illustrators begin the sketching process. They explore various iterations, fine-tuning shapes, layouts, and symbols that resonate with the chosen mood and theme. This phase brings initial ideas to fruition, showcasing potential logo designs. You’ll be able to witness the evolution of the concept, and we’ll collaboratively review the sketches to determine the most promising direction. Once we reach consensus on the final sketch and color palette, we proceed to refine the design further.

Design

In the final phase, we enhance the selected logo by removing extraneous details and refining each element for clarity and impact. Our aim is to craft a design that is both simple and powerful, effectively communicating your brand’s identity at first glance. The end result is a unique, versatile logo that tells your story, illustrates what you do, and leaves a lasting impression on your audience.

Let’s Talk a Bit More About the Importance of Logo Design

If you’ve found yourself on this page, chances are you already know that a logo is a significant aspect of branding—and you’re probably looking to get one designed. However, we’d still like to explore a bit deeper into why logo design matters, because it truly does. While we’re at it, we’ll also discuss logos in general, their history, and how they’ve evolved into the symbols we rely on today.

Your logo encapsulates everything your brand represents, neatly packed into a single, recognizable image. It’s the face of your company, the visual shorthand that communicates your values, mission, and story—all without saying a word. Interestingly, the term “brand” itself comes from the practice of literally branding livestock with hot iron marks to signify ownership. A logo was, quite literally, a brand. Over time, this concept evolved from marking cattle to marking businesses, products, and ideas.

But logos have existed long before cowboys and cattle brands. Ancient seals, stamps, and coins served as early forms of logos—symbols representing empires, merchants, and authority figures. Crests and coats of arms were the logos of their time, designed to tell stories, convey lineage, and, let’s be honest, show off a bit. These designs thrived on complexity—layers of symbolism, ornate details, and enough hidden meanings to keep historians and conspiracy theorists busy for centuries.

Fast forward to today, and logos serve a different purpose. You’re no longer tied to royal bloodlines or ancient decrees. Your logo doesn’t need to intimidate; it needs to connect. It must be simple, memorable, and versatile enough to look great on everything from a website favicon to a billboard. It should stand out in crowded marketplaces while being adaptable enough to grow with your brand. In short, your logo needs to accomplish a lot—and do it well.

And yes, we live in an era where AI can generate hundreds of logo options in seconds. They’re unique, sure—at least until they’re not. Because while AI can replicate patterns, it can’t replicate insight, intuition, or the subtle nuances that stem from understanding human emotions. A good logo still requires a human touch. It’s not merely about checking boxes for color theory, symmetry, or target demographics (although those are important); it’s about creating something that feels alive, authentic, and unmistakably you.

With all the data, trends, and tools at our disposal, it’s easy to assume logo design is formulaic. But a truly great logo isn’t born from a template—it’s crafted through a process that combines creativity, strategy, and a little bit of magic. And that’s exactly what we aim to do.
